Sweet Asian Sauce (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Base

01 - Rice vinegar
02 - Light brown sugar
03 - Canned pineapple juice
04 - Ketchup
05 - Tamari or soy sauce

→ Thickener

06 - Water
07 - Cornstarch

→ Optional

08 - Red food coloring (natural)

# Instructions:

01 - Toss everything except water and cornstarch into a pot.
02 - Once it boils, stir in cornstarch mix, then let it simmer to thicken.
03 - If you're using coloring, add it now. Let the mixture cool all the way.

# Notes:

01 - Go with canned pineapple juice, not fresh.
02 - Stays good for 2-3 weeks in the refrigerator.
03 - You can use alternative sweeteners easily.
