Blend the softened cream cheese, cheddar, bacon bits, garlic powder, and green onions together in a medium-sized bowl until smooth.

Gently open a side of each chip to create a pocket. Go slow to avoid breaking them completely apart.

Scoop or pipe the cheese filling into the pocket of each chip. Don't stuff them too much, or the chips might break.

Set the filled chips onto a tray, then chill them in the fridge for 15 minutes to firm up the filling. Sprinkle bacon or chives on top if you'd like before serving.
