Bang Bang Chicken (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Bang Bang Sauce

01 - 2 tablespoons honey
02 - 1 cup mayonnaise
03 - 1/2 cup Thai sweet chili sauce
04 - 1 teaspoon Sriracha

→ Chicken Coating

05 - Chopped parsley for garnish
06 - 1 large egg, room temperature
07 - 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
08 - 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
09 - 1 cup buttermilk
10 - 2 cups plain panko breadcrumbs
11 - 1/2 cup cornstarch
12 - 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
13 - 1 1/2 pounds chicken tenderloins
14 - Canola oil for frying
15 - 1 tablespoon Sriracha
16 - 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
17 - 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt

# Instructions:

01 - Stir together the Sriracha, chili sauce, mayo, and honey in a bowl. Put it aside for later.
02 - Combine seasonings with flour, cornstarch, buttermilk, Sriracha, and the egg. Mix well before dipping chicken.
03 - Take chicken out of the wet mix. Press gently into panko to stick.
04 - Warm oil to 365°F. Fry chicken for 2 to 3 minutes each side until the temperature inside is 165°F.
05 - Let chicken rest on napkins to remove grease. Toss with sauce and sprinkle parsley on top.

01 - Fry in smaller groups to keep it crisp.
02 - Keep oil hot for even frying.
03 - Adjust the spice level in the sauce to your taste.
