01 - Funfetti cake mix
02 - Funfetti or confetti frosting
03 - 1½ cups heavy cream
04 - 1½ cups milk
05 - 1-1½ teaspoons vanilla extract
06 - ¼-½ teaspoon almond extract
07 - ⅔ cup granulated sugar
08 - ⅛ teaspoon kosher salt
09 - ¼ cup rainbow sprinkles or jimmies

# Steps:

01 - Bake the cake in a 9×13 pan according to the package instructions. Optionally, substitute with a homemade cake recipe. Stir the frosting and set aside. Once cooled, frost the cake.
02 - Whisk together the heavy cream, milk, vanilla extract, almond extract, granulated sugar, and kosher salt in a mixing bowl.
03 - Pour the prepared ice cream base into your ice cream maker and freeze following the manufacturer's instructions.
04 - Slice the frosted cake into 3-4 servings. Place the pieces into the freezer while the ice cream is churning.
05 - When the ice cream is almost done churning, cut the frozen cake into 1-inch pieces.
06 - Scoop the churned ice cream into a freezer-safe airtight container, layering with the cake pieces and sprinkles. Freeze until firm.
