Bliss Bars Cranberry (Print)

Blondie bars packed with cranberries, topped with white chocolate and tangy frosting. A festive treat for any occasion.

# Ingredients:

01 - ½ cup white sugar.
02 - 1¼ cups packed brown sugar.
03 - 1 cup melted butter.
04 - 1 teaspoon salt.
05 - ½ teaspoon baking powder.
06 - 2 teaspoons vanilla extract.
07 - ½ cup softened butter for topping.
08 - 2¼ cups all-purpose flour.
09 - 8 oz cream cheese.
10 - 1 teaspoon orange zest.
11 - 2 eggs plus an extra yolk.
12 - 3-4 cups powdered sugar.
13 - ½ cup white chocolate chips.
14 - 2 teaspoons cornstarch.
15 - 1 cup dried cranberries.

# Steps:

01 - Set your oven to 350°F and line a 9x13 pan with parchment paper.
02 - Whisk melted butter with both sugars. Crack in eggs, yolk, and vanilla, and combine.
03 - In a separate bowl, stir flour, cornstarch, baking powder, and salt. Slowly add this to the wet mixture.
04 - Fold in half of the cranberries. Spread batter into the pan evenly and bake for 20-25 minutes.
05 - Whip the softened butter with cream cheese until smooth. Add orange zest, vanilla, and powdered sugar and keep mixing.
06 - Spread frosting on the cooled bars. Sprinkle the rest of the cranberries over it and drizzle with melted white chocolate. Cut into triangles.

# Notes:

01 - Using dark brown sugar makes them softer.
02 - Good in the fridge for a week.
03 - They’ll last in the freezer up to 3 months.
