Peanut Butter Cookies (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - ½ cup butter, softened.
02 - ½ cup granulated sugar.
03 - ½ cup packed brown sugar.
04 - 1 large egg.
05 - ½ cup creamy peanut butter.
06 - 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract.
07 - 1¼ cups all-purpose flour.
08 - ½ teaspoon baking soda.
09 - ¼ teaspoon table salt.
10 - ½ cup peanut butter, reserved for the filling.
11 - ¼ cup softened butter, for filling.
12 - 1 cup powdered sugar (confectioners’ sugar).
13 - 1-2 tablespoons milk (adjust as needed).

# Instructions:

01 - Set your oven to 350°F and get your baking sheets lined up.
02 - Blend butter, both sugars, and peanut butter until smooth. Stir in the egg and vanilla. Combine with the flour, soda, and salt.
03 - Shape dough into balls, press with a fork, and bake for 8-10 minutes. Let them cool down fully.
04 - Whip peanut butter with butter. Add powdered sugar and milk until it’s spreadable.
05 - Spread the filling on one cookie and sandwich another on top.

01 - Throw in chocolate chips if you want.
02 - Stays fresh for 3 days on the counter.
03 - Lasts up to a week in the fridge.
