Cheesy Bacon Twists (Print)

Soft twisted bread stuffed with creamy bacon-jalapeño filling and topped with garlic butter and cheddar. Great for sharing.

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 packages of pizza dough.
02 - 8 ounces softened cream cheese.
03 - 4 bacon slices, crumbled.
04 - 1 red onion, chopped small.
05 - 1 jalapeño, finely chopped.
06 - 2 teaspoons chopped fresh chives.
07 - 2 teaspoons chopped garlic.
08 - 2 cups shredded white cheddar cheese.
09 - 3 tablespoons melted butter.
10 - 1 teaspoon garlic for the topping.
11 - 1 teaspoon of salt.

# Steps:

01 - Set the oven to 350°F. Use parchment to cover the baking trays. Squash your dough pieces together, divide them into 4 parts, and flatten each to about 8x10 inches.
02 - Combine the cream cheese, bacon, onion, jalapeño, chives, and garlic in a bowl.
03 - Layer the filling onto the dough, stacking all four sections on top of each other.
04 - Slice into 16 long strips, then twist each into a loop or circle.
05 - Sprinkle cheese on top and bake for 25-30 minutes until you see a golden finish.
06 - Cool them down for 5 minutes. Brush the twists with the garlic butter and enjoy.
