Breakfast Pie (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 store-bought 9-inch pie shell.
02 - 1 cup cooked sausage crumbles.
03 - 1 cup grated cheddar.
04 - 1/2 cup chopped bell peppers.
05 - 1/4 cup sliced green onion.
06 - 6 eggs, large.
07 - 1 cup whole milk.
08 - Season with a pinch of salt and pepper.
09 - 1/4 cup bacon pieces, crumbled.
10 - Chopped chives to sprinkle on top.

# Instructions:

01 - Start by preheating the oven to 375°F. Lay the pie shell into your dish, poke holes in the base, and bake it for 10 minutes.
02 - Beat the eggs and milk together with the seasonings. Mix in the peppers, onions, sausage, and cheese once combined.
03 - Pour the filling into the warm crust, smoothing it so everything is even.
04 - Put it back in the oven for 30-35 minutes, or until it's set. Toss the bacon on during the last 5 minutes. Rest for 10 minutes before cutting.
