# Ingredients:

→ Main Components

01 - 1 pound kielbasa, sliced into small pieces
02 - 3 cups peeled and diced russet potatoes

→ Sauce Base

03 - 2 teaspoons finely chopped garlic
04 - ¼ cup plain flour
05 - 284ml (1 can) cheddar cheese soup
06 - 1½ cups milk (2%)
07 - ½ cup thick heavy cream (33%)
08 - ¼ cup unsalted butter
09 - 2 cups grated sharp cheddar cheese

→ Seasonings & Oils

10 - ½ teaspoon garlic powder
11 - ½ teaspoon crushed black pepper
12 - ½ teaspoon cumin powder
13 - 1 teaspoon table salt
14 - 1 tablespoon olive oil

# Steps:

01 - Set your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a large 9x13 inch dish with cooking spray to prevent sticking.
02 - Put the diced potatoes in boiling water and cook for roughly 7 minutes until soft but not falling apart. Drain them well and spread in your baking dish.
03 - Add olive oil to a pan and warm it over medium heat. Fry the kielbasa slices until they're golden and crispy (around 5 minutes). Layer them over the potatoes in the dish.
04 - Use the same skillet to melt butter and stir in the flour until combined into a paste. Pour in the milk, cream, soup, and garlic, letting it thicken. Remove from heat, then stir in the cheddar cheese until melted and creamy.
05 - Drizzle the cheesy mixture evenly over the kielbasa and potatoes. Put the dish in the oven for 30 minutes or until bubbling and browned on top.

# Notes:

01 - Tender potatoes and sausage meet a gooey, rich cheese sauce in this cozy, satisfying oven bake - great for gatherings!
