Cheesy Tree Rolls (Print)

Soft rolls stuffed with gooey cheese and shaped like a Christmas tree. Tossed in garlic butter, they're best served with marinara.

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 package of frozen bread dough, let it thaw.
02 - 10 oz mozzarella (part-skim), cut into 24 small chunks.
03 - 3 tablespoons of butter, melted.
04 - 1 garlic clove, finely chopped.
05 - 2 teaspoons parsley, freshly chopped.
06 - 1/2 teaspoon seasoning mix (Italian blend).
07 - A pinch each of salt and pepper, or more if needed.
08 - Fresh herbs to sprinkle on top.
09 - Optional: Use cherry tomatoes for decoration.
10 - Warm marinara for dipping.

# Steps:

01 - Tear the dough into 24 parts, then wrap each piece snugly around a cube of cheese. Close it tight.
02 - On parchment paper, place the rolls seam-side down, arranging them in a tree design.
03 - With a loose cover, let the dough rise for about half an hour or until it's doubled in size.
04 - Stir the garlic and fresh herbs into the melted butter, then use it to coat the tops of the rolls.
05 - Bake at 350°F for 18 minutes, or until the rolls turn golden brown.
06 - Top with tomatoes and herbs for a festive look, and pair with marinara for dipping.

# Notes:

01 - You can get creative and form different shapes.
02 - Tastes best when served warm.
