Cherry Chocolate Cobbler (Print)

Cherry filling and chocolate cake mix come together with butter for a quick cobbler-like treat. Add a scoop of ice cream and enjoy warm and gooey!

# Ingredients:

01 - Two 21-ounce cans of cherry pie filling.
02 - Optional: 1/2 tsp of almond extract.
03 - One box of devil's food cake mix, 15.25 oz.
04 - 3/4 cup of butter, cut into small slices.

# Steps:

01 - Set your oven to 350°F and lightly coat your 9x13 pan with spray oil.
02 - Mix almond extract into the filling (if you’re using it). Spread the cherries into the dish.
03 - Evenly sprinkle the dry cake mix right over the cherries. Place the butter slices across the top.
04 - Bake for 45 to 50 minutes until the middle bubbles and the top looks done.

# Notes:

01 - It's normal to have some dry spots on top.
02 - Goes well served warm with a scoop of ice cream.
03 - Stays fresh for about 2 to 3 days if kept at room temperature.
