Tender meatloaf mixed with onions, beef and pork, finished with a sweet glaze. Awesome for family meals.

# Ingredients:

→ Bread Part

01 - 2 slices of old bread soaked in milk

→ Glaze

02 - 2 tbsp brown sugar
03 - 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
04 - 60 ml ketchup

→ Meat and Eggs

05 - 2 eggs
06 - 450 g ground beef
07 - 450 g ground pork

→ Veggies and Seasonings

08 - 1 onion, diced and caramelized
09 - 1 tsp salt
10 - 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
11 - ½ tsp black pepper

# Steps:

01 - Give the meatloaf a 10-minute break, then slice and enjoy.
02 - Stick it in the oven for 60 to 70 minutes. Pull it out when the center hits 71°C.
03 - Shape the mixture into a loaf and set it in your loaf pan. Mix brown sugar, ketchup, and Worcestershire, then slather all over the top.
04 - Grab a big bowl and gently stir beef, pork, soaked bread, eggs, caramelized onion, garlic, salt, and pepper together.
05 - Get your oven going to 190°C. Start caramelizing those onions and let the bread chill in milk.

# Notes:

01 - Swap in breadcrumbs if you don't have old bread on hand.
02 - A pinch of smoked paprika gives it extra flavor.
03 - Try this with mashed potatoes, sauerkraut, or some spätzle.
