Effortless Chicken Orzo (Printable Version)

Tender chicken, parmesan cheese, sunny tomatoes, and orzo pasta come together in a creamy sauce and lots of basil.

# What You'll Need:

→ Base

01 - Cooked chicken, pulled apart
02 - Dry orzo pasta

→ Sauce Base

03 - Garlic, minced up
04 - Tomato paste
05 - Butter
06 - Pieces of sun-dried tomatoes
07 - Olive oil

→ Liquids

08 - Chicken stock
09 - Splash of dry white wine
10 - Heavy whipping cream

→ Seasonings

11 - Finely grated parmesan
12 - Red chili flakes
13 - Chopped fresh basil
14 - Dried oregano

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Toss in orzo, garlic, sun-dried tomatoes, tomato paste, pepper flakes, oregano, butter, and some olive oil. Let it all sizzle for a couple minutes.
02 - Pour in the wine and let it bubble away. Then throw in cream and stock, keep stirring while it gently cooks for about 10 minutes.
03 - Stir in the chicken, parmesan cheese, and basil leaves. Pop on a lid and let it get thick and creamy—this takes just a few minutes.
