Chicken Rice Bake (Print)

01 - 3 cups cooked or shredded chicken
02 - 3 cups rice, already cooked
03 - 1/2 cup softened butter, cut into pieces
04 - 8 ounces softened cream cheese, cubed
05 - 10.5 ounces condensed chicken soup
06 - 3 minced garlic cloves
07 - 0.7 ounce packet Italian seasoning mix
08 - 1 cup chicken broth
09 - 2 cups shredded Colby Jack cheese, split into two portions
10 - Salt and pepper, adjust to taste
11 - Chopped fresh parsley for topping

# Steps:

01 - Set oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly coat a 9x13 inch baking dish with cooking spray.
02 - Put butter and cream cheese in a microwaveable bowl. Heat for 20-30 seconds until softened, then stir until smooth.
03 - In a big bowl, combine chicken, rice, softened mixture, soup, garlic, Italian mix, broth, and one portion of cheese. Add salt and pepper to taste.
04 - Pour the blended ingredients into the baking dish and level it out.
05 - Scatter the remaining cheese evenly across the surface.
06 - Cover the dish with foil and bake for about 20-25 minutes until the edges bubble and the cheese is gooey.
07 - Take out of the oven, rest for 5 minutes before sprinkling parsley and serving warm.
