Creamy Sausage Tortellini (Print)

Cheesy tortellini, bold sausage, and a smooth cheese sauce—this hearty meal works for any day.

# Ingredients:

01 - 120 g shredded mozzarella
02 - 1 tbsp finely chopped garlic
03 - 1/4 tsp chili flakes
04 - 540 g frozen cheese tortellini
05 - 1 onion, diced
06 - 1 tsp Italian herbs mix
07 - 450 g coarse Italian sausage, broken up
08 - 425 ml Alfredo sauce (like Rao's)
09 - Dried parsley for tossing on top
10 - 425 ml tomato sauce (like Rao's Marinara)

# Steps:

01 - Scatter some dried parsley over the top and dish it up warm.
02 - Cover the pan and let mozzarella melt into the dish right there on the stove, or pop it into a hot oven at 200°C. Take out when gooey.
03 - Pour those frozen cheese tortellini into the pan. Make sure they're under the sauce. Cover up and simmer them for a few minutes till they’re soft.
04 - Turn heat down a bit. Mix in the garlic, Italian herbs, chili flakes, Alfredo sauce, and tomato sauce. Give it a solid stir.
05 - Set a big pan over medium-high flame. Toss in Italian sausage bits and diced onion. Cook till the sausage browns and cooks through. Dump any extra oil.

01 - No oven? No problem! Let the cheese melt over low heat right in your pan with the lid on.
