Quick Chicken Orzo Pan (Print)

Chicken and orzo with colorful veggies baked all together—tasty and simple comfort.

# Ingredients:

01 - Salt and black pepper to taste
02 - Olive oil as needed
03 - 350 ml hot vegetable or chicken broth
04 - 1 cup frozen peas (about 120 g)
05 - 2 garlic cloves, smashed
06 - 1 onion, diced
07 - 2 bell peppers, diced
08 - 250 g orzo pasta, uncooked
09 - 1 kg chicken legs, skinless

# Steps:

01 - Gently stir in the frozen peas and let everything bake for 5 more minutes.
02 - Turn the oven down to 200°C. Put the baking dish back inside and leave it there for another 25 minutes.
03 - Pour in the hot broth and give it all a good stir.
04 - Take the baking dish out and spread the orzo pasta all around the chicken.
05 - Slide the whole thing into the oven and roast everything for 20 minutes.
06 - Toss chicken legs, onion, garlic, and peppers into a large dish. Hit everything with some salt and pepper and splash on some olive oil.
07 - Crank your oven to 210°C and let it get hot.

01 - Want crispy skin? Sprinkle a bit of paprika powder over the chicken before baking.
