Easy One Pan Pasta Dinner (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Pasta & Vegetables

01 - 9 ounces chilled cheese tortellini
02 - 2 handfuls fresh baby spinach leaves
03 - Add salt and pepper if you want
04 - A sprinkle of parmesan on top if you like

→ Sauce

05 - Half a cup of heavy cream
06 - 14-ounce can of diced tomatoes with all the juice
07 - A quarter cup of chicken broth

→ Protein

08 - 11 ounces crumbled Italian sausage
09 - 3 garlic cloves, chopped up

# Instructions:

01 - Toss in the spinach and mix it up just until it looks wilted. Sprinkle over some salt and pepper, then grate parmesan if you want to up the flavor.
02 - Now pour in the cream, the canned tomatoes with juice, chicken broth, add the garlic and tortellini last. Let it bubble without a lid for about 5–7 minutes, so the pasta can get tender.
03 - Try cooking the sausage on medium-high heat till it's nice and brown, then tip out any extra fat in the pan.

# Notes:

01 - Any kind of Italian sausage will do the trick
02 - The heavy cream helps keep things smooth
03 - You'll find that the pasta itself will thicken the sauce up
