Fresh Strawberry Cream (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt.
02 - 4 tablespoons vodka or Cointreau.
03 - 1/2 cup corn syrup.
04 - Lemon juice, adjust as needed.
05 - 2 cups half-and-half.
06 - 1 quart strawberries, split into two portions.
07 - 1 1/4 cups sugar, split for two steps.

# Instructions:

01 - Run mixture in an ice cream machine, toss in soaked berries right at the end.
02 - Pop into the freezer for at least 4 hours before scooping.
03 - Put in the fridge and cool it down to around 45°F.
04 - Stir together the strained puree, half-and-half, syrup, sugar, and salt.
05 - Chop 1 cup of berries, mix with liquor and sugar, and chill in the fridge for a couple of hours or more.
06 - Blend the rest of the strawberries, run through a strainer, and measure out 1.5 cups.

# Notes:

01 - Pick the ripest strawberries you can find.
02 - Leftover syrup? Use it as a mixer for drinks.
03 - Make sure everything is super chilled to churn properly.
