Lemon Garlic Chicken (Print)

Savory chicken and pasta in a tangy garlic-lemon sauce. A warm, satisfying meal made in no time.

# Ingredients:

→ Chicken and Spices

01 - 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
02 - 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
03 - 4 chicken breasts (boneless, no skin)
04 - 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
05 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder

→ Pasta and Creamy Sauce

06 - 1/2 cup (50g) Parmesan, grated
07 - 300g (10 oz) bowtie pasta noodles
08 - 1 cup (240ml) heavy whipping cream

→ Fresh Ingredients

09 - 2 tablespoons parsley, finely chopped
10 - 1 lemon (zested and juiced)
11 - 3 garlic cloves, minced

→ Fats and Oils

12 - 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
13 - 2 tablespoons olive oil

# Steps:

01 - Add salt to water, heat to a boil, and cook pasta as instructions on the box say. Once done, drain and set it aside.
02 - Rub the chicken with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Heat olive oil and cook chicken for about 5-7 minutes per side until it's golden brown. Squeeze on some lemon juice near the end.
03 - In the same pan, melt butter, then sauté garlic until fragrant. Pour in the cream, stirring, and let it simmer. Mix in Parmesan cheese and lemon zest until thickened.
04 - Stir the sauce and pasta together, then toss in some parsley. Add a sprinkle of salt and pepper to tweak the flavor.
05 - Slice the cooked chicken and arrange it on top of the pasta. Sprinkle extra parsley on top if you like.

# Notes:

01 - Swap bowties for any other pasta shape you prefer.
02 - Spice it up with a bit of red chili flakes.
03 - Chicken thighs can be juicier if swapped in.
