One-pan pasta meal (Print)

Juicy chicken is seasoned with garlic and parmesan, combined with pasta, and finished with a rich tomato sauce. Comes together in under 35 minutes—perfect for families.

# Ingredients:

→ Marinade for Chicken

01 - 1 tbsp garlic pepper mix
02 - 1 lb chicken tenderloins, cubed
03 - 2 tbsp grated parmesan (reduced fat)
04 - 1/4 tsp to 1/2 tsp chili flakes

→ Pasta and Tomato Mix

05 - 8.5 oz pack of rotini pasta
06 - 15 oz canned tomato sauce
07 - 1 tbsp sugar-free sweetener (like Stevia)
08 - 2 tbsp garlic pepper seasoning
09 - 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (if you like heat)

# Steps:

01 - Combine chili flakes, parmesan, and seasoning into a bag. Toss chicken cubes in and shake until fully coated. Chill in the fridge for 30 minutes or more.
02 - Spray a large pan and heat it up on medium-high. Drop in the chicken. Cook for about 4 minutes per side until golden and done.
03 - Stir sweetener, red pepper flakes, and seasoning into your tomato sauce in a bowl.
04 - Follow the directions on the pasta’s packaging to cook it.
05 - Toss cooked pasta and prepared tomato sauce into the pan with chicken. Let it simmer until everything blends together and it’s heated through.

# Notes:

01 - Try swapping in 1/4 cup parmesan with 3 tbsp Nando’s Peri-Peri Garlic Sauce for the marinade.
02 - Feel free to skip making sauce and just use jarred pasta sauce.
