Cheesy Shrimp Grilled Bread (Print)

This upgraded grilled cheese combines juicy shrimp, buttery garlic spread, and gooey cheese on crispy sourdough.

# Ingredients:

→ Shrimp Prep

01 - 1 lb medium shrimp, deveined and peeled
02 - A couple of tablespoons of olive oil
03 - 2 minced garlic cloves
04 - Seasoning: salt and pepper

→ Garlic Spread

05 - Half a cup of soft butter
06 - 4 finely chopped garlic cloves
07 - A couple of spoonfuls of fresh chopped parsley
08 - Small pinch of salt

→ Putting It Together

09 - 8 slices of sourdough
10 - 2 cups of stretchy mozzarella
11 - 1 cup of shredded cheddar
12 - Herbs to sprinkle on top

# Steps:

01 - Sprinkle shrimp with seasonings. Heat oil in a skillet, toss in garlic and shrimp, and cook till they turn pink (Jack won’t miss this part!).
02 - Mix softened butter with minced garlic, salt, and parsley until it’s perfectly creamy.
03 - Smear that garlic butter over the outer sides of your bread slices (Aliana’s favorite part!).
04 - Fill the bread with mozzarella, shrimp, and cheddar cheese inside.
05 - Warm up a frying pan on medium-low heat. Toast each stacked sandwich until golden and cheesy inside.
06 - Wait for the sandwiches to cool just a bit. Sprinkle herbs on top if you want!

# Notes:

01 - Watch the shrimp—don’t let it overcook.
02 - Keep the pan warm, not super hot, for smooth melted cheese.
03 - Georgia likes to grate her own cheese for creamier results.
04 - Catrine recommends a pinch of garlic powder for extra taste.
