Easy Hamburger Rice Casserole (Printable Version)

Cozy ground beef casserole with rice and creamy soup, finished off with gooey cheddar. Done in about 90 minutes.

# What You'll Need:

→ Topping

01 - 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded

→ Seasonings

02 - Salt and pepper as much as you like
03 - 1 teaspoon paprika
04 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder

→ Main Ingredients

05 - 2 cups water
06 - 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
07 - 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
08 - 1 cup uncooked long-grain white rice
09 - 1 onion, chopped up
10 - 1 pound of ground beef

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Pull off that foil and dump your cheese all over the top. Slide the dish back in for about 15 minutes. Let the cheese melt and get those perfect crispy brown bits on the edges.
02 - Move your mixed-up ingredients into a 9×13 dish. Wrap the top with foil and bake it for around an hour. Great chance to relax or handle other stuff.
03 - Toss in all your uncooked rice, both cans of soup, water, and every seasoning you picked out. Stir it up so it’s nicely blended.
04 - Throw your beef and chopped onion into a big skillet. Cook them together until the meat loses its pink color and the onions get soft. Pour out all that extra grease.
05 - Start by firing up your oven to 350°F. You want that oven nice and hot for the best results.

# Additional Notes:

01 - Want more flavor? Swap water for beef broth.
02 - Chopped mushrooms or bell peppers sneak in more veggies.
03 - Trying a new cheese is fun! Monterey Jack or any cheese mix works great.
