Hong Kong French Toast (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main Layer

01 - 6 slices of soft milk bread or plain white bread
02 - 4 heaping tablespoons of creamy peanut butter
03 - 2 beaten large eggs
04 - 1 cup of oil for frying

→ Finishing Touches

05 - 2 spoonfuls of butter
06 - Sweetened condensed milk as you like

# Instructions:

01 - Stack three slices of bread with peanut butter spread in the middle, then cut off the edges.
02 - Dip the bread sandwiches gently in the eggs, then stand each on its side while warming the oil.
03 - Get the oil to 300°F. Fry edges briefly for about 30 seconds, then cook flat sides for 1-2 minutes until golden brown.
04 - Add butter over the warm toast and pour on as much sweetened condensed milk as you like.

01 - You can switch the peanut butter to something else
02 - Try using different add-ons
03 - Best eaten soon after cooking
