Indian Spiced Rice Bowls (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Key Components

01 - 4 cups of pre-cooked Jasmine or basmati rice
02 - 1 lb of either ground chicken or lamb

→ Veggies & Greens

03 - 1/2 cup of diced-up fresh cilantro
04 - 1/2 cup of thin carrot shreds
05 - 1 onion chopped into small pieces

→ Flavors & Sauces

06 - 3/4 cup of creamy mayonnaise
07 - 1 tablespoon garlic (either minced or paste)
08 - 1/2 cup of sweet mango chutney
09 - 1 tablespoon ginger (paste or finely minced)
10 - 1 or 2 tablespoons of hot sauce—your call on how much
11 - 1/4 cup soy sauce for savoriness
12 - 2-3 tablespoons of your favorite cooking oil like vegetable or coconut
13 - 1 1/2 tablespoons garam masala spice blend

# Instructions:

01 - Get everything ready on a tray—except rice, mayo, hot sauce, and half a tablespoon of the garam masala. Warm the griddle to medium heat.
02 - Toss oil, carrots, onions, and meat onto the hot griddle. Use spatulas to stir and crumble it for around 4-5 minutes.
03 - Stir in the soy sauce, garam masala (just 1 tablespoon), ginger, garlic, cilantro, and mango chutney. Let it cook another 4-5 minutes.
04 - Grab a bowl and blend the mayo, the last of the garam masala, and hot sauce together.
05 - Spoon rice into bowls, lay the meat-veggie mix on top, and drizzle with that tasty sauce.

# Notes:

01 - Using coconut oil gives it a more classic Indian touch.
