Little Apple Treats (Print)

Tiny pie-inspired goodies with flaky dough, sweet apple filling, and a drizzle of caramel—sprinkled with cinnamon sugar on top.

# Ingredients:

01 - 1/4 cup sugar.
02 - 1/2 cup salted caramel sauce.
03 - 21 oz apple pie filling.
04 - 1 beaten egg.
05 - 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon.
06 - 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg.
07 - 1 teaspoon water.
08 - 2 rolls pie crust from the fridge.

# Steps:

01 - Set your oven to 350°F. Chop the apple filling into bite-sized chunks.
02 - Spread the caramel and apple filling over the first rolled-out pie crust.
03 - Slice the second pie crust into strips and weave them into a crisscross pattern.
04 - Use a circular cutter to make shapes. Brush with the egg wash, then sprinkle on cinnamon-sugar mix.
05 - Bake them for 20–25 minutes until they’re golden and crisp.

# Notes:

01 - If you prefer, you can skip the lattice top.
02 - Extra scraps work great for small pies.
03 - Pour some warm caramel sauce on top before eating.
