Peaches Pie Bars (Print)

Creamy, juicy, buttery layers combine to make this peachy dessert perfect for any gathering or dinner spread.

# Ingredients:

01 - 1/4 teaspoon vanilla flavoring.
02 - 4 cups peach slices (fresh, frozen, or canned).
03 - 1/2 cup powdered sugar.
04 - 16 spoons of softened butter.
05 - 1 teaspoon of lemon flavoring.
06 - 8 ounces softened cream cheese.
07 - 4 large eggs.
08 - 2 spoons cornstarch.
09 - 2 cups white sugar.
10 - 1/2 teaspoon salt.
11 - 3 cups regular flour.
12 - 4 spoons of juice from peaches.
13 - 1 cup sugar.

# Steps:

01 - Crank oven up to 350°F. Cover that 15x10 pan in foil with some extra at the edges and spray it well with cooking spray.
02 - Blend butter, sugar, and salt until it’s nice and airy. Toss in eggs one by one and follow up with the flavorings and flour.
03 - Press 3 cups of dough into your pan and pop it in the oven for 15 minutes.
04 - Stir cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Spread it all over that crust.
05 - Stir together sugar, cornstarch, and peach juice. Gently mix in peaches, then spread them right on top of the cream cheese layer.
06 - Dollop the rest of your dough over the peaches. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until golden brown. Let it cool down completely before slicing.

# Notes:

01 - Peaches can be fresh, frozen, or canned, as you like.
02 - Foil makes it easy to lift the bars out of the pan.
03 - Wait until fully cooled to cut them into bars.
