Grab the sandwiches from the pan and bring 'em right to the table with warm pizza sauce on the side for dipping.

Put a second slice of bread on top, buttered side up. Cook over medium-low heat until the first side gets deep golden, about 3-5 minutes. Flip it over and toast the other side so it’s crispy and the cheese gets nice and melty.

Drop a bread slice, butter down, in the pan. Add a slice of mozzarella, then six pepperoni slices, another mozzarella slice, another set of six pepperoni, and one last mozzarella layer on top.

Coat one side of each bread slice with the butter mix. Lay them out on a baking sheet, butter side up, so they're ready to go.

Blend the soft butter, Parmesan, garlic powder, and Italian herbs together in a bowl till everything looks smooth and totally mixed.
