01 -
Get your oven going at 400°F (200°C) so it'll be good to go when everything's ready.
02 -
Use a bit of cooking spray or swipe on olive oil to coat a baking dish big enough for your chicken without overcrowding it.
03 -
Put the chicken breasts in the greased dish. Try to make them roughly even. If any are thick, you can give them a quick pound to thin them out.
04 -
Drizzle olive oil evenly over the top of the chicken to keep things moist and help the spices stick.
05 -
Sprinkle the ranch mix, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper all over the chicken. You want to cover it well—don’t skimp!
06 -
Use your hands (or tongs if you’d rather not) to make sure each piece of chicken is completely coated in the seasoning mix.
07 -
Place the dish in the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes. The chicken is ready when it’s golden brown and hits 165°F (74°C) on your meat thermometer.
08 -
Give the chicken about 5 minutes to sit before you cut into it. This keeps the juices locked in beautifully. Then slice it up and enjoy!
