Cheesy Breakfast Crescents (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 2 tubes of crescent roll dough
02 - 1 pound of pork or turkey breakfast sausage

→ Cheese & Seasonings

03 - 1/4 cup of softened cream cheese
04 - 1 cup of shredded cheddar
05 - 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
06 - 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder

→ Egg Wash

07 - 1 optional egg, beaten

# Instructions:

01 - Cook the sausage in a frying pan over medium heat until it's no longer pink. Take out the extra grease, then cool it a bit.
02 - Mix up the cooled sausage with pepper, garlic powder, cheddar cheese, and cream cheese until it's all blended together.
03 - Scoop the sausage mix onto the thicker end of each crescent, roll it into a log shape, and lay it seam-side down on your baking tray.
04 - If you want, brush the crescents with the beaten egg, then put them in the oven at 375°F for 12-15 minutes. They should come out golden brown.
