Florida Shrimp Pie (Print)

Golden crust packed with creamy shrimp, chive cream cheese, and spicy pepper Jack.

# Ingredients:

→ Crust

01 - 1 thawed Pillsbury™ Deep Dish Pie Crust

→ Filling

02 - 4 large eggs
03 - 1/2 cup shredded pepper Jack cheese
04 - 12 ounces frozen shrimp, already cooked, chopped, and tails removed, thawed
05 - 1/2 cup chive-and-onion cream cheese

# Steps:

01 - Preheat to 375°F and place a cookie sheet inside. Wait 10-20 minutes for the crust to soften. Use a fork to poke small holes in the bottom and sides. Bake it on the sheet for about 9-11 minutes until it looks light golden.
02 - Whip the cream cheese until it’s smooth. Crack in one egg at a time, blending after each. Stir in the pepper Jack cheese and shrimp pieces.
03 - Spread the filling into your baked crust. Pop it onto the same cookie sheet, then bake for 30-35 minutes. You’ll know it’s ready when the center is firm and the top is golden.
04 - Allow it to cool for 15 minutes first. Slice it up and enjoy while it’s warm.

# Notes:

01 - Drain the shrimp well to avoid making everything soggy.
02 - Works great as a main dish or sliced into smaller pieces for snacks.
