Strawberry Chocolate Swirl (Print)

Creamy cheesecake on a chocolate base, swirled with fresh strawberries and chocolate, finished with a glossy ganache topping.

# Ingredients:

→ Crust

01 - 6 tbsp melted unsalted butter
02 - 2 cups crushed chocolate cookies (about 20)

→ Cheesecake Filling

03 - 8 oz cream cheese (use 3 blocks), softened
04 - 1 cup sugar (granulated)
05 - 3 eggs, large
06 - 1 tsp vanilla
07 - ½ cup sour cream or substitute
08 - ½ cup melted chocolate or chocolate sauce
09 - 1 cup of sliced fresh strawberries

→ Topping

10 - 8-10 strawberries, halved or whole
11 - ½ cup chocolate ganache

# Steps:

01 - Blend butter and cookie crumbs. Press mixture into a 9-inch spring pan. Pop in the oven at 325°F for 8 minutes.
02 - Whip cream cheese with the granulated sugar. Drop the eggs in one by one. Stir in the sour cream and vanilla until it’s smooth.
03 - Put half the mixture onto the crust. Add the strawberries with some chocolate. Cover this with the rest of the mix. Use a knife to swirl it around.
04 - Set in a water bath, bake it for 60-70 minutes until the edges are firm. Leave in the oven for an hour to cool, then chill it in the fridge for 4 hours.
05 - Dress it up with strawberries and chocolate ganache.

# Notes:

01 - You can use Greek yogurt instead of sour cream. Using a water bath helps avoid cracks, but it’s not required.
