Strawberry Kiss Cookies (Print)

Soft strawberry cookies rolled in sugar with a chocolate kiss on top. Great for Valentine's or anytime you want something sweet.

# Ingredients:

→ Cookie Base

01 - 2 large eggs
02 - 1 tablespoon milk
03 - ¼ cup vegetable oil
04 - 1 box strawberry cake mix
05 - 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour

→ Coating & Topping

06 - 22 unwrapped Hershey Kisses
07 - Granulated sugar for coating

# Steps:

01 - Switch your oven on at 375°F, and put some parchment paper on a couple of cookie sheets.
02 - In a big bowl, whisk your eggs together with the vegetable oil until everything’s mixed well.
03 - Add the cake mix and flour to the bowl, then pour in the milk. Stir gently until you’ve got a smooth dough.
04 - Shape the dough into balls (about 2 tablespoons per ball) and roll them around in sugar. Pop the dough into the fridge for at least an hour.
05 - Pop one tray in at a time and bake for 8–10 minutes. Keep the leftover dough chilling in between.
06 - As soon as the cookies come out of the oven, press a Hershey Kiss into the middle of each one. Leave the cookies alone until they’re completely cool.

# Notes:

01 - It's key to chill the dough so the cookies hold their shape while baking.
02 - Have your unwrapped Kisses ready ahead of time since they need to go on the cookies right after baking.
