Sweet Carrots (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1/4 teaspoon salt.
02 - Fresh parsley, chopped up for topping.
03 - 1/8 teaspoon white pepper.
04 - 2 pounds of carrots, cut into slices.
05 - 1/4 cup packed brown sugar.
06 - 1/4 cup butter.

# Instructions:

01 - Fill a big pot with water, about an inch above the carrots. Toss in the carrots, boil it, then reduce heat. Cover the pan and let it simmer for 8-10 minutes until they’re just soft but not mushy.
02 - Remove the carrots from water and set them aside to cool for a bit.
03 - In that same pot, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the brown sugar, salt, and pepper till smooth.
04 - Pop the carrots back into the pot. Cook while stirring now and then for 5 minutes or until they're nicely coated with the glaze.
05 - Sprinkle on some parsley if you like, then enjoy them fresh and warm.
