Salted Caramel Snack (Print)

Golden caramel clings to crunchy oyster crackers, sprinkled with salt and cinnamon for a satisfying sweet-salty bite.

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 teaspoon of salt.
02 - Half a teaspoon cinnamon.
03 - Two teaspoons vanilla extract.
04 - A cup (2 sticks) of butter.
05 - A package (9 ounces) of oyster crackers.
06 - 1 cup packed brown sugar.

# Steps:

01 - Set your oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment. Spread your crackers out evenly over it.
02 - In a pan, heat the butter. Stir in sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla. Keep stirring until it’s dissolved. Let it boil for a couple of minutes until it thickens up.
03 - Drizzle the caramel all over the crackers, making sure it covers them nicely. Sprinkle some salt on top.
04 - Put it in the oven for 7-9 minutes, and keep an eye on it so it doesn’t burn.
05 - Cool completely, then break into bite-sized chunks. Store in a container with a tight lid.
