Cheesy Taco Sticks (Printable Version)

Seasoned beef and melted cheese wrapped in dough, brushed with buttery garlic, baked to crispy perfection. Great as an appetizer or snack.

# What You'll Need:

→ Filling Ingredients

01 - 1 packet of taco seasoning
02 - 1 pound of ground beef

→ Assembly Items

03 - 5 cheese sticks (colby jack and cheddar), halved
04 - 1 roll of Pillsbury pizza dough

→ Topping Mix

05 - 1 teaspoon of dried parsley
06 - 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
07 - 4 tablespoons melted butter

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Crank up your oven to 400°F and prep a baking tray with some parchment paper.
02 - Cook the ground beef in a pan on medium heat, get rid of the grease, then mix in the taco seasoning following the packet directions.
03 - Lay the pizza dough flat on a floured counter. Slice it into 10 even rectangles.
04 - Put a portion of seasoned beef and half a cheese stick on each dough rectangle. Wrap it up tightly, pinching the sides to keep the filling inside.
05 - Combine the melted butter with parsley and garlic powder, then spread this over your rolled-up sticks.
06 - Pop them in the oven for 12 to 15 minutes until golden. Give them a few minutes to cool since the cheese will be super hot.

# Additional Notes:

01 - Toss in chopped jalapeños or bell peppers with the meat to switch up the flavor.
02 - Seal the dough edges firmly so the cheese doesn’t escape during baking.
03 - These go perfectly with dips like salsa or sour cream!
