01 -
Place a large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat until hot.
02 -
Spread approximately 0.5 teaspoon of butter on one side of a tortilla and lay it buttered side down in the preheated skillet.
03 -
Sprinkle 3 tablespoons of shredded cheese onto one half of the tortilla. Distribute 0.25 cup of cooked taco meat over the cheese, then top with an additional 2 to 3 tablespoons of cheese. Add a pinch of chopped cilantro.
04 -
Fold the tortilla in half to enclose the filling. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes, or until the underside is golden and the cheese begins to melt.
05 -
Carefully flip the quesadilla and continue cooking until the second side is crisp and all cheese has melted.
06 -
Remove the quesadilla using a spatula and place on a cutting board. Cut into wedges while hot and serve immediately. Repeat with remaining ingredients as needed.
