Taco Quesadillas with Cheese (Printable Version)

Folded tortillas packed with melted cheese, taco meat, and fresh cilantro, crisped to perfection for a flavorful bite.

# What You'll Need:

→ Main Components

01 - 4 flour tortillas
02 - 2 teaspoons unsalted butter
03 - 1.5 cups shredded cheese (cheddar, pepper jack, or Mexican blend)
04 - 1 cup cooked seasoned taco meat
05 - 1 tablespoon freshly chopped cilantro

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Place a large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat until hot.
02 - Spread approximately 0.5 teaspoon of butter on one side of a tortilla and lay it buttered side down in the preheated skillet.
03 - Sprinkle 3 tablespoons of shredded cheese onto one half of the tortilla. Distribute 0.25 cup of cooked taco meat over the cheese, then top with an additional 2 to 3 tablespoons of cheese. Add a pinch of chopped cilantro.
04 - Fold the tortilla in half to enclose the filling. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes, or until the underside is golden and the cheese begins to melt.
05 - Carefully flip the quesadilla and continue cooking until the second side is crisp and all cheese has melted.
06 - Remove the quesadilla using a spatula and place on a cutting board. Cut into wedges while hot and serve immediately. Repeat with remaining ingredients as needed.

# Additional Notes:

01 - For added flavour, serve with salsa, sour cream, or sliced avocado on the side.
