Butter Garlic Noodles (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 230g (8 oz) linguine or spaghetti.
02 - 4 tablespoons butter (half a stick).
03 - 2 spoons of olive oil.
04 - Finely chopped garlic, about 5 cloves.
05 - A handful of grated Parmesan cheese (1/4 cup).
06 - Pinch of salt, adjust to your liking.
07 - Grated cheddar (1 tablespoon) for the top.
08 - Parsley, minced, for sprinkling.

# Instructions:

01 - Boil the pasta as directed on the box, leaving it slightly firm. Shake off the water and keep it aside.
02 - Warm a pan and drop in the butter along with olive oil. Cook the garlic until it smells amazing and gets a light brown tint.
03 - Mix the pasta with the garlic sauce. Stir it until it all comes together. Adjust the salt to fit your taste.
04 - Switch off the stove and mix in some Parmesan. Scatter parsley and cheddar cheese over the top. Serve warm right away.

# Notes:

01 - Try swapping salt for 1/2 spoon of oyster sauce to give it a touch of Asian style.
