01 - 1 lb fresh scallops, dried thoroughly
02 - 1/4 cup finely grated Parmesan cheese
03 - 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
04 - 1/4 cup plain breadcrumbs
05 - 3 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
06 - 1 tbsp lemon juice
07 - 4 tbsp melted butter
08 - Salt and pepper as needed

# Instructions:

01 - Turn your oven on to 400°F (200°C) and let it fully heat while you get the scallops ready.
02 - Mix melted butter with garlic, lemon juice, a pinch of salt, and a bit of pepper in a small bowl. Blend it all together well.
03 - Put the scallops in an even layer in a baking dish. Drizzle the garlic butter over them, ensuring they’re completely coated.
04 - Combine breadcrumbs, Parmesan, and parsley in another bowl. Sprinkle generously over the scallops.
05 - Place the dish in the oven and bake for about 10-12 minutes, until the scallops are opaque and the top is golden.
06 - Take the dish out of the oven and serve while hot, with lemon slices for extra zing.
