Chipotle Taco Lettuce Wraps (Print)

Smoky chipotle chicken blends with avocado and zesty lime in crisp lettuce for a quick, bold anytime meal.

# Ingredients:

→ Filling

01 - 4 cups cooked chicken, shredded or chopped
02 - ½ cup sour cream
03 - ¼ cup plain Greek yogurt
04 - 2 tablespoons chopped chipotle peppers in adobo sauce
05 - 2 tablespoons chopped cilantro
06 - ½ teaspoon garlic powder
07 - ½ teaspoon cumin
08 - ½ teaspoon salt
09 - 1 lime, juiced and zested

→ For serving

10 - 1 head romaine lettuce
11 - 2 avocados, diced or sliced
12 - Lime wedges
13 - Cilantro leaves

# Steps:

01 - In a food processor, blend together the sour cream, Greek yogurt, chipotle peppers, cilantro, garlic powder, cumin, and lime juice and zest. Set aside.
02 - Spoon the cooked chicken into the lettuce leaves, then top with avocado and chipotle sauce. Garnish with lime wedges and cilantro, then serve.

# Notes:

01 - The sauce keeps in the fridge for up to 3 days. It’s best to assemble with the lettuce only when you’re ready to serve so the lettuce doesn’t wilt.
02 - Use whatever lettuce you want as long as it has broad, strong leaves. Butter lettuce, green leaf, and romaine work best.
